From the iconic Big 5 to breathtaking savannah landscapes, we're excited to share this African wilderness adventure with you.

Embark on two unique safari adventures, each featuring thrilling morning and evening game drives: first, a classic safari at Honeyguide Ranger Camp in the Entabeni Reserve, where five diverse ecosystems teem with wildlife. Then, journey to the unfenced Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp in the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve, bordering Kruger National Park for unparalleled game viewing opportunities.

You'll have the chance to encounter incredible wildlife right from the comfort of the lodge, whether it's sipping a drink at the open-air bar overlooking the watering hole or watching elephants approach you while taking a dip in the infinity pool.

We've partnered with Honeyguide Tented Safaris, whose seasoned guides and trackers will lead exhilarating game drives and guided walks, ensuring you make the most of your safari. We've worked with Honeyguide for years and can't wait to share this extraordinary adventure!

Most importantly, travel with a small group of like-minded adventurers (10-12 guests), fostering connections and creating memories that will last a lifetime. This intimate journey promises a truly immersive and unforgettable experience in the heart of Africa – the very reason we started this all up.

Typical Daily Schedule

    • 5:30 AM: Wake-up call, tea/coffee served in the common area, gather at reception.

    • 6:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Morning game drive with a tea/coffee and snack break out in the nature.

    • 9:30 AM: Return to the lodge for breakfast.

    • After breakfast: Optional guided bush walk (16+ years, additional charge), soak in the pool, relax and enjoy the lodge's facilities.

    • 2:00 PM: Lunch at the lodge.

    • 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Afternoon game drive with sundowners and refreshments.

    • 8:00 PM: Communal dinner. 

    • Chats around the fire pit, drinks in the common area.

Travel Itinerary

  • The Waterberg Biosphere

    Day 1:

    • Arrival at OR Tambo International Airport and transfer to Honeyguide Ranger Camp.

    • Check-in, lunch (if time allows), and an afternoon game drive (time permitting).

    • Dinner upon return from the game drive.

    Days 2-3:

    • Enjoy game activities and explore the wildlife at Entabeni Game Reserve, following the typical daily schedule.

  • Transfer to Mantobeni Camp

    • Morning game drive, breakfast, and checkout from Ranger Camp.

    • Transfer to Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp in Manyeleti Private Game Reserve.

    • Lunch at Mantobeni Camp, followed by check-in and relaxation.

    • Afternoon game drive in Manyeleti.

    • Dinner at the lodge.

  • Manyeleti Private Game Reserve

    Day 5-6:

    • Enjoy game activities and explore the wildlife at Manyeleti, following the typical daily schedule.

    • In addition to scheduled activities, relax at the camp: open-air bar, infinity pool, sun loungers, wildlife viewing at the watering hole.

    • Enjoy the comforts of your luxury tent: open veranda, elevated platform, leather couches, extra-length beds, mosquito nets, open-air en-suite bathroom.

  • Departure and Farewell

    • Morning game drive (time permitting) and leisurely breakfast.

    • Checkout and transfer back to Johannesburg, with drop-off at the airport or your hotel.

    • Ensure your departing flight is booked for no earlier than 6 pm.

  • Johannesburg Airport (OR Tambo), South Africa

  • South African safaris run year-round, with each season offering something unique.

    May–September (Dry Season):
    Cool, dry, and considered the best time for wildlife viewing. Vegetation is thinner and animals gather around water sources, making sightings easier. Mornings and evenings can be cold (especially June–August), but days are generally sunny and mild.

    October–April (Wet Season):
    Warmer with occasional afternoon thunderstorms. The landscape is lush and beautiful, birdlife is exceptional, and many animals give birth during this time. Wildlife viewing can be slightly more challenging due to thicker vegetation, but it’s a vibrant and photogenic season.

    Both seasons offer incredible experiences. It really depends on whether you prefer peak wildlife visibility (dry season) or dramatic skies and greener scenery (summer season).

    We personally prefer shoulder seasons to get the best of both worlds: March- April or October - November.

  • Since we're heading to South Africa, remember to check your visa requirements beforehand. Australians can get a visa on arrival, but it's always wise to double-check with your embassy or online for the latest information.

  • Yes, charging points and electricity are available throughout your stay.

  • Wi-Fi is available at both Ranger and Mantobeni Camp reception and dining areas. It is not accessible outside these locations, so we encourage you to switch off and enjoy a digital detox.

  • While this adventure is perfect for young adults and adults seeking an immersive wildlife experience, we welcome all nature enthusiasts over 12 years old. Families with younger children are encouraged to contact us directly to discuss potential arrangements and ensure the best experience for all travellers.
