What makes our trips different?

Small Groups, Big Connections
You get to travel with a small, intimate group, and we’re with you for the entire trip. We help with logistics, support the group and make sure the journey runs smoothly so you can focus on the experience.

Local Expertise & Off-the-Beaten-Path Adventures
The trip is also supported by a local team including a driver, a spacious Sprinter vehicle and a local guide who speaks English. We have worked closely with this team to put together an itinerary that gives you access to remote villages and authentic experiences that most travellers never see.

Photography Guidance & Memory Journal
If you’re into photography, we’re always happy to share tips, tricks, or simply chat about all things camera gear and shooting.
We’ll capture every moment of the adventure with our cameras, and at the end of the trip, you’ll receive a full collection of photos to relive the journey and share the memories with friends and family.

Remote & Authentic Cultural Experiences
We want our trips to feel like more than simply passing through. Where possible, we’ll spend time with local families, share meals and experiences, and give you a chance to see what life is really like in the places we visit. It’s those personal connections and access to places few travellers reach that make our trips different.
Stay with the Locals, Live Like a Nomad

Authentic Kyrgyz Yurt Camps
Modern toilet facilities are available on-site, but as we’re sure you can appreciate, the yurts do not have en-suite bathrooms. Not all yurt sites have showers, but we have arranged access at select locations.
This isn’t a hotel, it’s a cultural immersion. A rare chance to live like a nomad, if only for a couple of nights.

Local Comforts,
Heartfelt Hospitality
Some nights, we will stay in family-run guest houses along our way — simple, warm, and full of character.
Expect warm hospitality and a chance to connect with the people who call these remote regions home. These stays offer a genuine look into everyday life in Kyrgyzstan’s smaller villages and towns. It’s all part of the journey: authentic, grounded, and unforgettable.
Frequently asked questions
You’ll fly into Osh International Airport (OSS) in Osh, the south of Kyrgyzstan. This is where the trip begins and ends, and we’ll provide group transfers to and from the airport on the arrival and departure days.
May through September is a great time to travel in Kyrgyzstan, although conditions vary considerably depending on altitude. May brings mild, pleasant days in the valleys, while July and August are the warmest months and offer the best conditions for high-mountain trekking, horse riding and yurt stays. September is cooler and often brings clear skies and comfortable daytime temperatures.
Pack light clothing for warm, sunny days, along with layers, a warm fleece or jacket and rain protection for cooler evenings and mountain conditions. The weather can change quickly at altitude, so layers are essential whether you're hiking, travelling through the valleys or staying in a yurt camp.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Many travellers (including those from the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand) can enter Kyrgyzstan visa-free for short stays. We’ll provide guidance once you book, but it’s always best to check the latest entry requirements before travelling.
Yes, in hotels and guesthouses you’ll be able to charge your devices. Kyrgyzstan uses the Type C and Type F plugs (European standard, 220V).
Wi-Fi is available in most guesthouses and hotels, but not in yurts or remote areas.
This trip is designed for adventurers of all backgrounds — whether you’re a hiker, cultural explorer, or simply curious about experiencing Kyrgyzstan in an authentic way.
Solo travellers, couples, and groups are all welcome. The group size is small (max 10), so you’ll share this journey with like-minded explorers while still having personal space.
